    Petrol, Diesel Excise Duty Hiked By Rs 2 Per Litre; No Impact On Retail Prices Of Fuel | Economy News

    New Delhi: The government on Monday hiked excise duty on petrol and diesel by Rs 2 per litre each, according to an official order. The excise duty on petrol was increased to Rs 13 per litre and that on diesel to Rs 10, the order said.

    Will Hike In Excise Duty Of Petrol, Diesel Lead To Increase In Retail Prices Of Fuel?

    PSU Oil Marketing Companies have informed that there will be no increase in retail prices of Petrol and Diesel, subsequent to the increase effected in Excise Duty Rates today.

    The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has officially confirming the news has tweeted.
